Design and Analysis of An Improved AODV Protocol Based on Clustering Approach for Internet of Vehicles (AODV-CD)

The Internet of Vehicles (IoVs) has become a vital research area in order to enhance passenger and road safety, increasing traffic efficiency enhanced reliable connectivity. In this regard, for monitoring controlling the communication between IoVs, routing protocols are deployed. Frequent changes that occur topology often leads major challenges such as dynamic changes, shortest paths also scalability. One best solutions is “clustering”. This study focuses on IoVs’ stability create an efficient protocol environment. context, we proposed novel algorithm called Cluster-based AODV IoVs (AODV-CD) achieve stable clustering simplifying ensuring quality service (QoS). Our enhances overall network throughput delivery ratio, with less load delay compared AODV. Thus, extensive simulations carried out SUMO NS2 evaluating AODV-CD superior classic other recent modified algorithms.
